The City girl wins four gold medals in Table Tennis

Ms Kazol Sunar won medals in sub-junior, junior, youth and woman Categories in the recently concluded tournament at Anantapur.

She also won four medals in the tournament held at Rajamundry. Speaking at a press conference, State table Tennis Association secretary S.M. Sultan said that all the players of table tennis in the combined state were confined to Telangana after state division.

At a time when Andhra Pradesh is facing dearth of talented players, it is heartening to see the young talent like Kazol emerge. He also lauded Shailu Noor Basha who represented Indian team in world junior table tennis circuit held at Indore.

He also announced that the national ranking tournaments will be held from October 20 to 23 at Vizag. In all, 16 tables are being arranged for the event and top eight ranker’s from each state can participate in the event.
