Harvard School to back health varsity Schemes

The Harvard Medical School’s (HMS). Global Education Department will work with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) for providing training to teachers of medical education.


Giving the details to the media, NTRUHS Vice-Chancellor Dr T. Ravi Raju said that a nine-month programme has been devised in this context and all the teachers under NTRUHS medical colleges will have training sessions under this programme.

Introducing Mr Robin wheatley and Dr Venessa Bijol of the Global Education Department of the HMS to the principals of various medical colleges affiliated to NTRUHS, in an interactive session organised in Siddartha Medical College here on Tuesday, the Vice-Chancellor said that two interactive Workshops have been planned in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam for the medical teaching faculty, in the nine-month duration.

A total of 50 sessions have been planned, he added.
