TD, BJP betrayed trust of AP people: Congress
The Congress on Friday lashed out at the ruling TD and BJP over the special category status.Addressing the media at the Andhra Ratna Bhavan here, AIPCC vice-president N. Tulasi Reddy accused both the parties of betraying the Telugu people by backtracking over the assurances they had given during the elections, especially with regard to the SCS to AP.
Mr Reddy said that the Centre has denied SCS to AP only because of the incompetence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He demanded that the Chief Minister either go on fast in front of Parliament or step down from his post by accepting his incompetence.
